Goods codes

Definition

A goods code is a code issued by the EU for a certain class of goods based on the prescribed good classification for statistics of the international trade in goods. This coding system is part of the 'Combined Nomenclature' (CN) of Eurostat. These codes are also known as the 'custom codes'.

Floricode manges the link between this goods code for ornamental products and the group codes of ornamental products that are registered and coded by Floricode.

How to use

The goods codes are used by exporters and forwarders in their obligatory declarations at the CBS (in the Netherlands) for trade statistics and to the customs authorities for the import and export of ornamental products.
