Definition

A company code is the identification of a company or a business unit that is active in the international ornamental supply chain and which is coded with a "Global Location Number" (GLN).
A system like an auction clock or an E-commerce platform can also be identified with a GLN number.

How to use

In all the digital messages, the companies or business units involved in a transaction are identified by their GLN company code. This applies for commercial messages such as orders, logistic messages such as transport orders and financial messages such as electronic invoices.

How to obtain

The codes can be obtained via:

• FTP ls CSV file
  The codes are packed into CSV files and then compressed.

• The data can be requested are searched via an API.
  This way, ad hoc specific codes can be requested or validated.
  Or, the latest data (mutations) can be queried and one's own database can be updated periodically.
