Definition

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) maintains the codes for languages, countries, and currencies worldwide.The:

• ISO language code is the identification of a language
• ISO country code is the identification of a country name
• ISO currency code is the identification of a currency

Floricode distributes these codes to be used in the ornamental horticulture.

How to use

The ISO codes for languages, countries, and currencies are used in the exchange of data on orders, deliveries, and invoices between supply chain partners in the international ornamental horticulture.

How to obtain

The codes can be obtained via:

• REST JSON API
• The data can be requested and searched via an API.
  This way, ad hoc specific codes can be requested or validated.
  Or, the latest data (mutations) can be queried and one's own database can be updated periodically.

  Technical documentation of the API, "/ISO/Language", the 'endpoint' for the purpose of the ISO language codes
